Dan McDade: The Truth About Leads

Dan McDade founded PointClear in 1997 with the mission to be the first and best company providing prospect development services to business-to-business companies with complex sales processes. He has been instrumental in developing the innovative strategies that drive revenue for PointClear clients nationwide.

In addition to serving as president and CEO of PointClear, Dan is the author of The Truth About Leads, an insightful book that sheds light on the little-known secrets that help focus B2B lead-generation efforts, align sales and marketing organizations and drive revenue. The book was published in January 2011.

Prior to starting PointClear, Dan served as president of UST, The Business Marketing Group, a high-tech B2B marketing services firm. The company, serving leading technology companies including Sun Microsystems, Texas Instruments, Oracle and SAP, grew over 500% during his tenure. From 1989 to 1991, Dan was an independent consultant providing direct marketing, telemarketing and new business development consulting services. Clients included Sears, Exxon, Rodale Press, R.J. Reynolds, and The Ritz-Carlton. Dan also served as vice president of marketing with Jackson & Perkins in Medford, Ore.

He is a member of TAG, and also serves on the boards of TechAmerica Southeast (formerly AEA); the Business & Technology Alliance, a TAG society; and TAG Marketing. The Sales Lead Management Association named Dan one of the 50 most influential people in sales lead management in 2009 and 2010. We had a great time with the Interview and learned so much from Renee. This is a show not to miss!  The Download link is above.

Stuff is Everywhere…Phones are Ringing…Chores are Calling…Kids are Nagging…Life is CHAOS–HOW IN THE WORLD CAN WE GET IT ALL DONE!!! HELP!!!…Is on the way.

  • Do you feel buried in papers or e-mails?
  • Are you always late because you can’t find your keys?
  • Are you sick of tripping over toys or clothes?
  • Do you park in the driveway because your garage is too full?
  • Do you find yourself buying duplicate kitchen gadgets because it’s easier than finding what you already have?
  • Are you undergoing a major life change that will affect your home such as marriage, divorce, moving or a new child?

Renee Kutner – a Chaos Advisor with Peace by Piece Organizing – can help!

The one thing we all need more of is something we cannot multiply – time. So we have to make the most of the time we have. But how can we tap the potential within us if we’re constantly stressed and overwhelmed with what’s around us? Many people are stuck in a self-perpetuating cycle with no organizing systems in place to increase efficiency, and hence taking the time to get organized is always bottom of the list. But without organization, the feelings of being stressed and overwhelmed just grow. Getting organized enables you to use your time better and, most importantly, enjoy it more. Peace by Piece Organizing helps you achieve lasting peace of mind through organization because clear spaces lead to clear minds. Make good on your New Year’s Resolution to “finally get organized this year.” Peace of mind; One piece at a time.

Countless individuals vow for a change. Be it spiritually, financially or mentally, goals cannot be accomplished without the encouragement to take the necessary steps. With a guiding hand and powerful words, Encouragement Speaker Derrick Hayes is here to help.

From the work place to the church pews, people need encouragement to propel them to the God-given success they already possess, Hayes says. While it’s inside already, sometimes an extra push is needed. I strive to provide that.

Hayes has the unique talent of turning names and words into positive messages within seconds right before your eyes.  Hayes calls these Derricknyms. His critically acclaimed first book by the same name (first print 2000) has been utilized in corporate, religious and scholastic settings. Personalized Derricknyms can be ordered by going to www.DerrickHayes.com. One of the most frequently used Derricknyms is W.O.E.

I always tell people to make sure they give others a W.O.E. daily. Hayes says, “In the general context, a woe is a problem.” In the Derricknym fashion, it is a Word of Encouragement.

Hayes is a highly sought-after speaker nationwide. He has been featured as the keynote speaker at several events sponsored by such entities as the U.S. Department of Commerce, Brown Sanders College, Georgia State University, Tennessee Childcare Facilities Corporation, Mississippi 4-H, American Camping Association, Bowie State University, Tennessee State University, Georgia Power, Jackson State University,  and many others.

As a featured writer, Hayes has had articles and columns appear in several publications and on many Web sites. Hayes has written for Next Step Magazine, www.BlackEmerge.com, www.DiversityInc.com, The Anointed News Journal, and others. Most recently, Hayes has written Grow The “F” Up (www.amazon.com) and is a contributor to the thought-provoking book, Can Hip-Hop Be Holy? In the fall of 2010 Derrick Hayes will release his highly anticipated book entitled, 1 WORD Is All It Takes™.

Hayes, an alumnus of Tennessee State University is available for small and large meetings, church events, academic speaking engagements and workshops.
