Laura Biering

Laura Biering says . . .

It’s one thing to be yourself. It’s a whole other thing to be your magnificent, inimitable, dazzling, true self – out loud.

Scary, I know, because I’ve been on the journey of discovering and claiming the real me. I’ve been an opera singer, a legal recruiter, and a nude art model, too. Finally, I got clear on what I really wanted. I found my true voice helping others find — and share — theirs with the world.

The out loud part is hardly ever easy, but wouldn’t you know, it is always essential. Quite simply, there are some things you just have to do to make change happen. Through our work together, we’ll zero in on what you really want, identify those vital — gateway — risks, tap into your wellspring of courage, and proceed in the direction of your desires. Before you know it, you’ll be risking your way to success, however you define it.

And remember, the greatest risk is doing nothing at all.

Steve brings unique perspective to his position.  In this CFOradio broadcast, Steve discusses the CFO role as being one of both leading the numbers and mentoring the team.  It’s no wonder; one of his primary past-times is starting first baseman for the Greater Atlanta Braves Men’s Senior Baseball League, so he has an ample arsenal of sports analogies, valuable on and off the field.

Steve’s career is somewhat untraditional. His career began in Operations Management and transitioned to becoming a CFO when RockTenn’s CEO asked him to take the position.

Listen as he discusses his “ACTIVE” approach to business…kind of the Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs for the finance function.

Tim Berkesch: Vector Displays

Vector Displays has both trade show booth rental and trade show booth purchase programs. Vector Displays also provides trade show exhibit design, fabrication, round-trip freight, installation and dismantle, and storage services. They provide complete turn-key service that allows trade show exhibitors to arrive minutes before a show begins and leave immediately after a show.

With the high cost of shipping to the U. S., the services that Vector Displays offers trade show exhibitors are an especially attractive alternative for companies not based in the United States. Rather than incurring the expense of building an exhibition stand in your country and then shipping it to the U. S., Vector Displays can build your exhibition stand in the U. S. and ship it locally to your show at greatly reduced costs.
