Focusing on sustainability and carrying out their mission with increased efficiency and effectiveness The place is a welcoming environment for all clients.

Family Promise of Forsyth County, Inc. serves families who are experiencing homelessness. In cooperation with community churches and volunteers, we provide a safe place to stay and meals along with programs and supports to help the families gain or regain sustainable independence. Therefore, each family works on personalized, weekly goals to provide them the knowledge and skills needed to be successful. Each family is also provided a mentor who will continue to work with the family beyond graduation to be a support and a link to additional services they may need.

Forsyth is located just northeast of Atlanta, Georgia. The County was partitioned in 1832 from a section of Cherokee County territory along with nine other counties in the area. Forsyth County was named for John Forsyth, Governor of Georgia from 1827 – 1829.
Cumming and Forsyth County, Georgia are consistently ranked among the most desirable communities in the nation. World class schools, nationally recognized parks, over 200 miles of lake shore line, the lowest property taxes in the region and a vibrant business community are the primary factors that earn the community accolades year after year.

The OneForsyth MLK Week of Service encourages the business community to participate in a corporate challenge, joining colleagues together to engage in local service projects identified by notable non-profit entities. Additionally, the initiative provides opportunities for families to complete service projects together, even offering DIY projects families can complete at home.
