I like how most vegetables taste – plain – steamed or just sauteed or roasted in some olive oil. I think they taste good just they way they are. But for you pickier or more adventurous eaters here are some ways to make veggies taste  gooder….taste tastier?

  • Experiment with citrus juices when you make your veggies.
  • Try flavored olive oils – Dr fitness likes basil in his extra virgin olive oil
  • Spice things up with some exotic spices, herbs and peppers
  • Add some garlic – garlic makes everything taste better

Anything you can do to eat more vegetables is a good thing. Listen right now to hear Dr Fitness’ tips. Dr Fitness and the Fat Guy’s Wellness Minutes improve your health in 3 minutes a day or less. iTunes Follow us on Twitter @FatGuy and @DrFitness6 Be our Friend on Facebook

Jack like Thai? Well, Dr Fitness loves him some Thai vegetable curry. Here’s how he makes it – saute up some onions, garlic, carrots, peppers, and whatever vegetable you love into a pan that has some canola oil, vegetable stock, soy sauce and red Thai curry paste. Then make yourself some of those rice noodles that Lisa Lillien – the Hungry-Girl loves so much.. Now mix all of that together and serve. This is a low cal very filling meal.

This vegetable omelette recipe is the Fat Guy’s new favorite breakfast. Whether you spell it omelet or the classier omelette – it tastes awesome. In some butter saute up some veggies you like – we use finely chopped red, yellow and orange peppers ( my kid loves to add bacon and cheese to this meal) – Crack 2-3 eggs per small pan and scramble them up in a bowl. When the veggies are done and you’ve removed any excess liquid then pour the eggs on top. Wait until the eggs solidify around the veggies while you gently move the whole mixture around. Now it is time for the flip – be careful this will make or break this – flip and let cook for a while longer – until all the eggs get done. Put it on the plate and fold it over. In today’s Wellness Minute Dr Fitness and the Fat Guy share their favorite . Listen right now to hear Dr Fitness’ tips. SketchGenie, the new, patent-pending, time-saving drawing system is for all levels of artists and non-artists.  Based on the old grid method of drawing, the SketchGenie was invented and developed by artist and entrepreneur, ElishaFields. The SketchGenie eliminates having to draw and erase pencil lines or calculate ratios for enlarging.  The featured package include one grid for your art surface and a packet to slide in the source material and compete instructions.  Workshops are available for art groups or one on one by Skype.

Elisha Fields, CEO of Free Range Art, LLC, is an artist, inventor and entrepreneur.  Elisha found a need while struggling with her portrait drawing and developed this tool.  Then she decided other artists should have the opportunity to use this tool.  The new patent pending drawing system SketchGenie came on the market only last March and is sold on the internet and at SketchGenie workshops.

Elisha’s art has shown in national and international juried/judged exhibitions; has won several awards; and two of her paintings are published on book covers.  She has painted for twelve years and is active in local art organizations.  Her works are in collections in NY, CA, MI, IL, FL, GA, and SC.  You may view Elisha’s work at Artists Atelier of Atlanta on Miami Circle in Buckhead or at http://www.elishafields.com/.
