Christine is a designer and author who has worked in the lifestyle and design world in New York and London. In her book she shares ways people can make their living spaces feel comfortable again. She shared some great tips to help you bring your family closer together by getting back to basics. Here is a great tip to reconnect with your family over regular family dinners –  remember families who eat meals together have been shown to have better behaved and well adjusted kids 1-pre plan the dinners by having a clue for what you want to serve  2 pre set the table so it is ready for dinner ahead of time – that way everyone in the family can anticipate eating together all day long 3- set the mood with lighting – keep candles and matches on the dinner table so you can make each meal special. Christine also shared some ways you can create “campfire” moments – these are places that are centers of energy that draw people together – she says that putting fresh fruit out in a bowl encourages family members to just reach out a grab something healthy rather than search for it in the fridge.
