First up we had on George Hammond, with Advanced Coastal Technologies, inventors of the Water Tube. The Water Tube is your own personal water supply. It is made from 35oz German Vinyl with heat welded seams. It is 15 feet long and holds 450 gallons of water. You simply hook it up to the downspout of your gutter system and it automatically collects the rainwater during every downpour. This morning we learned all about coping with Cancer.

First up we had on Laura and Susan Stachler creators of Susan Snaps.Laura is the owner of Laura’s Divine Desserts and she created Susan Snap ginger snap cookies as a way for her to help relieve the nausea her daughter (Susan) and her husband were experiencing when they were each going through chemotherapy. This morning we learned all about business incubators.

First up we had on Cindy Cheatham, the Director of Business Development at the Advanced Technology Development Center (ATDC), a nationally recognized science and technology incubator that helps Georgia entrepreneurs launch and build successful companies. ATDC provides strategic business advice and connects its member companies to the people and the resources they need to succeed.

More than 100 companies have come out of the ATDC, including publicly-traded firms such as MindSpring Enteprises – now part of EarthLink. Headquartered at Technology Square on the Georgia Tech campus in Atlanta, ATDC has been recognized by both BusinessWeek and Inc. Magazines as among the nation’s top nonprofit incubators. Next up we had on a member the ATDC, Sanjay Bhatia, founder and CEO of Izenda. Izenda was recently honored as one of the top 40 most innovative companies in Georgia and has grown over 300%.
