Karolina Mallahan serves as Vice President for Supply Planning at Smithfield Foods. Karolina has more than 20 years of supply chain experience, 12 of those years with her current company. Karolina’s career spans across various areas of supply chain including but not limited to production planning, inventory management, demand planning, systems transformations and implementations.

Fred Tolbert has over twenty-five years of supply chain management experience. He is Principal of Southeast Demand Solutions, LLC, the Southeastern reseller of the Demand Solutions suite of supply chain planning software. In this position, he leads the Demand Solutions marketing, training and consulting activities in the Southeast
US. Fred spent ten years as a Principal Consultant with The North Highland Company, an Atlanta-based management consulting services firm. He was Director of Operations with Sun Data, a distributor of IBM hardware. He held systems development management and inventory management positions with Contel Corporation.
Fred began his business career as a Senior Consultant with Andersen Consulting. Fred has BBA and MBA degrees from the University of Georgia. He is active in APICS/ASCM and the Institute of Business Forecasting. He served two terms as president of the Atlanta APICS Chapter and has represented chapters in ten southeastern states on the APICS society Board of Directors. Scott W. Luton is the founder of Supply Chain Now Radio and also serves as Managing Partner for TalentStream. He has worked extensively in the end-to-end Supply Chain industry for more than 15 years, appearing in publications such as The Wall Street Journal, Dice and Quality Progress Magazine.
Scott currently serves as Executive Vice President of APICS Atlanta, was recently named a 2019 Pro to Know in Supply Chain by Supply & Demand Executive. He served on the 2018 Georgia Logistics Summit Executive Committee and currently serves as Chair of the 2019 Atlanta Supply Chain Awards Planning Committee. He is a certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and holds the APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) credential.
As a Veteran of the United States Air Force, Scott also volunteers on the Business Pillar for VETLANTA, and maintains active membership in the Georgia Manufacturing Alliance & CSCMP Atlanta Roundtable. Prior to joining NGC, Mark was president of Caribbean Apparel Associates (CAA), overseeing all operations for a clothing manufacturer with factories in Colombia and Mexico.
Glenn Pascrell is the Senior Vice President of Merchandise Planning and Market Analytics at CITIZEN WATCH AMERICA. He is responsible for merchandise planning, inventory management, purchasing, and product pricing for the US market. Competitive market research and analytics is his newest area of responsibility.

Sean Willems is the Haslam Chair in Supply Chain Analytics at the University of Tennessee (Knoxville). He has been a visiting professor of operations management at the MIT Sloan School of Management since 2016. His work has led to finalist selections for the 2003, 2010, and 2017 Franz Edelman Award for Achievement in Operations Research and the Management Sciences. Sean has been a finalist in 2006, 2008 and 2012 for the Daniel H. Wagner Prize for Excellence in Operations Research Practice. His work on inventory placement under non-stationary demand won the Wagner Prize in 2008.
