Evan Kubicek
https://www.linkedin.com/in/evankubicek

Hi my name is Evan Kubicek aka Coach K and I love helping people and businesses leave a legacy. That’s why I love my work. At Eastern Illinois University I get to pass along strategies, processes and ideas that bring transformation in my students, their companies and their communities. I’m a father of 4 boys, a husband of 17 years, a life & business coach, a volunteer firefigher, township assessor and former VP of Workforce/Impact CloudFactory.

https://www.linkedin.com/in/evankubicek http://www.coachk.me

What am I?

I help coach and mentor potential managers, entrepreneurs, and leaders to reach their highest potential. At home, at work or at the store it doesn’t matter to me. This passion for business and entrepreneurial development has taken me through several professions: retail, education, humanitarian aid, international technology startup and consulting in more countries than I can count on two hands.

Why do I?

In 2006 I had a dream of my wife and I standing on a mountain top with a whisper in the wind telling us to explore the world. A few years and more than 20 countries later, I love consulting international startup companies to success. I like to pretend that I am the Indiana Jones of social entrepreneurship. I love the treasure hunt.

“Sau-da-de”. “Saudade is a deep emotional state of nostalgic or profound melancholic longing for an absent something or someone that one loves. Moreover, it often carries a repressed knowledge that the object of longing might never return.”

The question is, where does one go with the love that remains?”

“Music Is Where the Love Remains”.

Liam’s Christmas Guitars ™

Liam’s Christmas Guitars ™ mission is to provide brand new Acoustic Guitars to teenagers who currently reside within Foster Care programs. Too often, these young teens from 12 – 18 are often overlooked during the Christmas gift season. Liam’s Christmas Guitars ™ aims to focus our intentions specifically on these children. Each child, boys and girls will receive a brand new beginners acoustic guitar. Each guitar will come with a case, guitar strap, picks and extra strings and a workbook. Supporting teens with music and music therapy is a life changing experience for these children, some of which don’t have much to call their own. Gifting and influencing children with new acoustic guitars also gives them a sense of pride and ownership. Together, with your pledge, we will provide, guitars, straps, picks, strings, cases, and workbooks to make Liam’s Christmas Guitars ™ a huge success by honoring Liam’s musical legacy and knowing that…

Ken Coleman/Focus On The 5

Pod Guest Series Episode 1

Focus on the 5

“Focus on the 5” is dedicated to the insights and identity of 5%ers  (entrepreneurs, risk-takers, early adopters, business owners…)I go in detail on:
Why and how to market to 5%ers.
How to spot them in a crowd and the benefits of being able to.And I begin to open a door for each of you to better understand, and hopefully embrace, how you fit into this broader philosophy as 5, 15, 30 and 50%ers.The opportunities for companies and individuals who learn why they need to be focusing their time and energy on the 5%ers are immense.

The financial, spiritual and psychological benefits for every one of you to better understand this fundamental component of who you and those around you are, and the core of how we make decisions, is staggering.

5%ers are the trendsetters in all purchases, all industries, all decisions. It is not a choice they made, rather it is who they are.  Once you learn how to spot a 5%er who has embraced who they are, they stand out like a blinding light in a crowd.

This philosophy will change the way you do business. It will change the way you view choices and decisions. Those of you who are 5%ers and have not yet learned to embrace it, I believe this book and learning to understand yourself as a 5%er may very well save your life.

I can hardly wait to meet you, teach you and hear your story.
