Our approach to the testing business is that we’re not a pharmacogenomics company, we’re a risk management company that uses a variety of tools to solve problems.

During the past decade, the field of pharmacogenomics/pharmacogenetics (PGx) has grown exponentially due to advances in science and clinical experience. This growth has heightened interest in integrating these discoveries into clinical practice and automated decision-making systems. The potential for pharmacogenetics to facilitate effective pharmacotherapy continues to be documented.

Doug Magnus, president and founder of Conditioned Air Systems, Inc., started the company in February 1983 and has guided CAS growth from a small, family business into a regional powerhouse.

Now a 75+ employee-strong family business, Doug serves as the CEO keeping the company’s big picture in sharp focus and works hand-in-hand with Andy Kalinauskas, President of Operations and Services to oversee the major departments of the business.

Prior to opening CAS, Doug worked in the HVAC business for 20 years, giving him more than 50 years combined experience in the industry.

As a family‐owned and operated business, we believe in investing not only in CAS, but in our community as well.

Consequently, many of our employees and family members are involved in community‐oriented programs and organizations focused on improving the quality of life in Hall County.

is the culmination of a life-long love affair with food, wine and hospitality. Scott Dixon started in the restaurant business at age 13 as a busboy at a local Atlanta BBQ restaurant. Little did he know that that was the first step in a long and prosperous career in the restaurant business.

Scott has worked in every position in a restaurant from bussing tables to washing dishes, from the kitchen to the dining room to behind the bar. He has also held management positions in the kitchen and the dining room all the way to executive chef and general manager. This depth and breadth of knowledge has helped him to create Scott’s Downtown.

After many years as an Insurance Agent, Scott’s wife Kay Dixon joined the team in 2010 to head up the Catering and Special Events side of the business. Kay now handles all of the Catering and manages The Loft special event facility.

Our mission is to provide an extensive array of the freshest, highest quality, meat, fish and seafood products, prepared in traditional as well as innovative ways. We will compliment these offerings with an large selection of quality beer, wine & liquor, all served by professional, friendly and knowledgeable staff in a relaxing atmosphere.

Our name will be synonymous with great food and great times without the attitude, and the establishment will be well respected by its peers and the community.

We will provide a stable, secure, and enjoyable place to work for ourselves and for our employees.
