WHY

We believe Young Entrepreneurs are the future of our economy.  Pensacola Business Radio is absolutely committed to supporting these future leaders — and with just a little help from you, we can provide them with the same robust, full-scale “in-studio” Radio Show platform we make available to our Corporate clients, sponsors, and underwriters.

The Business RadioX ® Network has agreed to match Dollar for Dollar all funds raised from this campaign, provided . . .

  • We apply all funds to supporting Young Entrepreneurs in our community
  • We raise a minimum of $2,500 from our own community

What We Need & Want

  • What we WANT is $20,000 — which will fund Young Entrepreneur Radio for a full year.  To pull that off, we need to raise $10,000 (BRX Corporate will match that dollar for dollar to meet our $20k objective).
  • What we NEED is at least $2,500 so we qualify for the matching funds.

If we raise less than $2,500 . . . Every penny will still go to providing some version of Young Entrepreneur Radio.  It just means a much more modest program — like a monthly series vs. weekly show, and less budget for Remote Broadcasts, Radio Camp, Awards, and Scholarships.

Pensacola Business Radio Spotlights Steve Speaks – Business RadioX

December 29, 2015 by rhondachale

PENSACOLA, FL–(Marketwired – December 29, 2015) – On November 18, 2015, Pensacola Business Radio welcomed to the studio Professional Speaker Steve Wilmer. Host Keith Hoffert sat down with Wilmer to learn about his passion for public speaking that led to the development of Steve Speaks.

As founder of Steve Speaks, Steve Wilmer has built a reputation around being passionate, motivated, energetic, inspiring, practical, talented, humorous, relevant, and enthusiastic. Wilmer energizes the room when he walks in and all eyes and ears are tuned to his message. He captivates his audience and has them sitting on the edge of their seats to hear what’s next. Wilmer’s humor and quick wit has audiences laughing out loud while delivering a message that is clear, practical and relevant to any audience.

After serving in the U.S. Marine Corps and as a law enforcement officer, Wilmer started his own business with Ameriplan Health and Dental. It is here where he discovered that his true passion was team building and motivating others to achieve their goals. He was later recruited by State Farm Kizziah Agency and quickly rose through the ranks as one of the top insurance producers in the state.

Wilmer then decided to branch out on his own with his speaking and presentation experience and started Steve Speaks. “When I decided to start the company,” said Wilmer, “I sent an email to 20-25 people who had heard me speak before and asked ‘What would you say about me as a speaker’ and that’s what I’m going to use in my bio and promotion.”

Wilmer has spoken to audiences from 5 to 500. From inspiring independent business owners to achieve their goals to training employees on team building and what it takes to win in business, his presentations are true investments in success.
