He was later recruited by State Farm Kizziah Agency and quickly rose through the ranks as one of the top insurance producers in the state.

Wilmer then decided to branch out on his own with his speaking and presentation experience and started Steve Speaks. “When I decided to start the company,” said Wilmer, “I sent an email to 20-25 people who had heard me speak before and asked ‘What would you say about me as a speaker’ and that’s what I’m going to use in my bio and promotion.”

Wilmer has spoken to audiences from 5 to 500. From inspiring independent business owners to achieve their goals to training employees on team building and what it takes to win in business, his presentations are true investments in success. Wilmer currently travels the country coaching and training insurance agents in the art of the sales process and is highly sought after in this field.
