I began my career in the life insurance industry in 1978; many firms were not hiring women to be in sales in that male-dominated field. After several attempts, and not giving up, I found a major life insurance company with a young general agent who not only gave me the chance I needed but was huge support over the years I worked with him. In 2005, after working for other companies, I started Sandbrook Group to better serve my clients, who are largely small business owners.  In 2017, I further created a signature program for those same clients to do succession planning and their eventual exit from their business, either voluntarily or involuntarily- something that is largely overlooked in this market.  I also assist them in getting their business “sale ready” if their goal is to sell their business as an exit strategy,

We are the first to get our food out as quickly as possible so that people who are on their lunch breaks and have time restraints can actually enjoy and relish in the flavor that we created instead of choking on it before you go back on the clock. lol! And Providing the largest and most diverse menu in the western United States ranging from Texas to California up to the Canadian border.

When it comes to events all around the Tucson area, we bring to the table a menu designed as a one-stop-shop for a family of five from age 2 to 92 I think makes us unique!

My wife and I have been married for 9 years.  We lived here for 11years, moving from Denver Colorado, where the BurgerRito was born, known as a Mexican hamburger for the past 65 years!  I have been in the industry -customer service all my life, and have been a master-baker in Colorado but wanted to bring my childhood favorite with me to Tucson.  My hobbies include mud runs and all contact sports(football/hockey)

I got into the Business  in Colorado during a mud-run and had a Mexican hamburger in my hand wishing I could enjoy this back in Tucson, and thought, why not?  So I decided to open a Foodtruck so all in Tucson could enjoy a childhood favorite!

I got into this line of work because I enjoy being an independent and enjoy my passion for cooking at the same time.  We are looking for more specifics about you so our listeners can connect. - I get to the place where I wear my passion on my sleeve, and I get a chance to be a social butterfly as I dissect the menu that I’ve created.  Being in the Food Truck industry has given me the opportunity to say thank you to all of the community who has embraced all Foodtrucks including mine that’s why we really embrace all 501(c)(3)‘s schools churches and give back to the community is my way of saying thank you.

Jessica BadowskiJessica Badowski is the owner and founder of Tucson based Too Busy Gals. Too Busy Gals was established in 2008 in Ohio and moved to Arizona in 2011. It was established as a business to the business service provider after multiple requests for assistance with social media, branding, and marketing from peer business owners. After 20+ years in non-profit management and anti-poverty social work, Jessica decided to break out and start her own business. In 2008, it became quickly apparent the need for high-quality education and coaching social media services were exploding. After 3 years working with national partners in marketing and social media, Too Busy Gals began developing its own roster of clients. Current clientele ranges from a local manufacturing company, land developer, Moroccan artisan e-commerce business, to NYT Bestselling author, and non-profit serving breast cancer survivors.

Too Busy Gals is very active in the local Tucson business community. Currently, Legacy Partners of Local First Arizona, strategic partners with Tucson Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Marana Chamber of Commerce, and Vail Chamber of Commerce. Charity and volunteer work has been a passion of Jessica’s and is a central part of Too Busy Gals business model. Currently, Too Busy Gals is part of 100+Women Who Care Tucson, eWomen Network Foundation sponsor, and partner with Big Hearts, Helping Hands Arizona Secret Santa program.

lisabensonheadshotLisa Benson joined Too Busy Gals in October 2017. Her role is community outreach and connecting local businesses to the training and coaching services Too Busy Gals offers. With a background in event planning, marketing, and advertising research, and extensive marketing experience in networking environments, she ensures Too Busy Gals meets the needs of the Tucson business community. As an active 4-H mom and owner of dogs, birds, rabbits, chickens, pigeons, quail and recently a cat, she is an avid animal enthusiast.

Lisa Benson born in Phoenix, AZ and grew up in the small, farming community of Buckeye, AZ. Both sides of my family worked in farming Cotton, Alfalfa, and cattle, had huge vegetable gardens, lots of chickens and an occasional pig or goat. That would seem a long way from what you do now Lisa? She graduated from the University of Arizona in 1999 with a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing.  She and her husband were married in 2000, and you have lots of dogs, a cat, several rabbits, chickens, pigeons, quail, cockatiels, tortoises, and fish! and your daughter raises rabbits, quail, chickens, and pigeons for the Pima County 4H program and competes in shows all over Arizona and the big show is the Pima County Fair in April. I guess you can take the Farm Girl out of Buckeye but not for life or your daughters for that matter,

Lisa likes to keep busy, being recently nominated for the board at the Greater Vail Area Chamber of Commerce and will add that to my busy life of work with Too Busy Gals and volunteering as the Rabbit Coordinator for Pima County 4H and The Club Leader and Rabbit Leader of the Little Rascals 4H club in Vail.
