Veteran Broadcaster Johnny Phelps Named New Host of “OPEN FOR BUSINESS”
A new year brings a new look and sound to OPEN FOR BUSINESS, the Gwinnett Chamber’s monthly radio show that originates from the Business RadioX studio in Duluth, GA.
The new host of the show is veteran broadcaster Johnny Phelps, who has over 30 years experience in the radio and television industry. His on-air work includes serving as a national sportscaster for CNN Sports and CNN-Sports Illustrated. He was also a sports anchor at WFMY-TV in Greensboro, NC.
Phelps currently works as a broker associate and realtor for Harry Norman Realtors. Known as the “Voice of the Gwinnett Chamber”, Phelps serves as the official emcee at chamber events and has been selected as a two-time Gwinnett Chamber “Ambassador of the Year”.
“I am very excited to be hosting OPEN FOR BUSINESS,” said Phelps. “This is a great opportunity to enhance my involvement with the Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce and its membership.”
OPEN FOR BUSINESS also has a new underwriter and sponsor inFarraTech. Formerly known as Laser Supply & Service, the employee-owned company just celebrated its 25th anniversary. Based in Norcross, FarraTech specializes in manufacturing toner for laser printers, plus printer and copier repair.
