Steve Jackson is a seasoned industry veteran with almost 50 years of experience — having played an integral role in the success of Hungry Howie’s since its inception in 1973 when he worked as a delivery boy for founder, Jim Hearn.
Steve made an impression as a young teen, but left for college to study to become a teacher. Because of the lack of jobs available, he came home from college, met with Jim and decided to open a second location of what was then the first Hungry Howie’s Pizza.
In 1983, they awarded their first franchise, and within the next 3 years, 65 franchises were opened within the Hungry Howie’s system. Today, Steve is CEO and he’s seen incredible growth with nearly 550 locations in 21 states!
The concept has emerged as a major player within the pizza marketplace, consistently ranking in the top 10 of the nation’s largest pizza franchises.
