Joanna Rogerson, Founder and CEO, GEMA Touch
GEMA is working to become the established thought leader in remote oncology patient support and monitoring. Our proprietary hardware and software infrastructure enables the control of a cloud-based, HIPAA compliant program that is personalized to each patient and triages real-time results for providers. The platform completely eliminates flat “reminder-based” monitoring and reduces reactive patient support burden from phone calls/email. As founder, my job is to establish relationships with strategic partners, developers and designers, engage initial customers and solicit early investment. Gema Touch is backed by Healthbox and partner BCBS TN. Winner of the 2013 Healthbox Innovation Award.
