BRX Pro Tip: Take Notes on Your Next Sales Call
Stone Payton: [00:00:00] And we are back with BRX Pro Tips. Stone Payton and Lee Kantor here with you. Lee, we’ve been talking a little bit about some things to improve our selling efficiency/efficacy. I guess one of the things that you’re thinking we should do is take notes on our next sales call.
Lee Kantor: [00:00:19] Yeah, I think it’s important to kind of either have a checklist that’s physical that you’re writing things down on, or digital, or whatever the case is that you have it in front of you, and then write stuff down. We’ve talked in previous tips about listening in and really asking lots of questions. So, transfer some of those answers that the prospects are giving to your notes and to fit them into the checklist that you should have.
Lee Kantor: [00:00:46] I mean, Business RadioX has the survey process that we talk about. And it’s important to kind of go through that methodically, so you don’t forget anything. And having this checklist will keep you on track, it’ll keep you focused on the prospect, and it’ll remind you not to be selling, but just to be listening and to seeing if there’s a good fit in there. So, don’t be afraid to take notes and make sure you’re capturing some of the stuff because you’re going to need it later on when you follow up to make sure there’s clarity and there’s agreement on what the pain is and what it is you’re promising.
