ANNOUNCING MEMBERSHIP OPTIONS FOR POWERFUL WOMEN OF THE GULF COAST!

Powerful Women of the Gulf Coast has formerly existed for 3 years providing benefits to women in business looking to grow personally and professionally. In addition to the monthly meetings in Pensacola and Gulf Breeze and an annual conference, we also publish a quarterly print magazine. However, during this time many of our attendees have requested more opportunities to become more active and gain more exposure within our organization. We also see value in creating a unified front of supporters who are willing to stand together to support women in business. For many reasons, Powerful Women of the Gulf Coast recently announced membership options. Anyone interested can apply for either Traditional Membership or Premier Membership at first year introductory rate offers.

Traditional membership includes the following benefits for $30 per year: Simple listing in PWGC Member App (view online at www.powerfulwomenapp.com), personalized PWGC name tag, recognition at Pursue Your Passion conference, and eligible to be drawn for PWGC Meeting Sponsor role at monthly meeting.

Premier membership includes the following benefits for $15 per month: Premier listing in PWGC Member App (view online at www.powerfulwomenapp.com including member discount offer & clickable buttons for website, pictures, direct dial phone number & direct email), personalized PWGC name tag, recognition at Pursue Your Passion conference, discount at Pursue Your Passion conference, member spotlight in PWGC Magazine annually, and eligible to be drawn for PWGC Meeting Sponsor role.

Men and women can apply and attending the monthly meetings is not a requirement to be eligible for membership.

“The PWGC Member App and the opportunity for a member spotlight in the PWGC Magazine are both examples of great opportunities to be visible within our organization that didn’t exist before we rolled out membership,” said Kolleen Edwards Chesley, Founding Director, Powerful Women of the Gulf Coast. “We wanted affordable options that weren’t tied to having to attend our meetings but still gave members exposure and inclusion in our group.”

For more details or to apply, email directors@powerfulwomengulfcoast.com.

Kolleen’s personal mission is to “be the change you want to see in the world” (Gandhi) and she believes that if we all did what we were most passionate about, the world would be greatly changed. Last October, Kolleen took a leap of faith and left a 25 year career as a Financial Advisor to pursue her passion, running Powerful Women of the Gulf Coast full time. “We are excited about the collaborative culture we have built and can’t wait to see where it takes us and how we can support women in business.”

Erik Hansen   – Realtor / Team Leader & Golf Committee Chairman

Hansen Real Estate Team at Keller Williams Gulf Coast — Cokesbury Church Golf Tournament

A little about me and my family: I am a true Pensacola native, and have lived only one other place in my entire life. In 2001, my wife (Angie) and I moved to Orlando to start college and life as a married couple. I jumped into real estate while I was still in college at the University of Central Florida in Orlando back in 2003. After a year learning the real estate business and finishing up at UCF, I joined up with Keller Williams Realty in East Orlando and began really building my business. I partnered up with a Team Leader which catapulted me to the top in a very short time period. In the summer of 2013, after being back in Pensacola since 2009, I jumped back into real estate. In January 2016, I rejoined Keller Williams Realty with my entire team. Since that summer of 2013, I have built a successful real estate team that consistently produces in the TOP 10 of real estate teams in Pensacola. We currently have 4 Buyer Specialists (Cathy Paulsen, Rusty Mack, Renee Decker and Jane Oberbeck), a full time Transaction Coordinator (Carly Murphy), Listing Coordinator (Angie Hansen), and a part time Runner (Janice Paulsen). The team approach gives a level of service unmatched by the average single agent. Our staff and Buyer Specialists have the skills and experience to handle all your real estate needs! In 2015, our team closed 90 transactions and are on track for 150 transactions in 2016.

Looking to purchase your first home or downsizing into a smaller home? We can help. Thinking about investing in real estate to build wealth and a retirement? We have the plan for you. Seeking an experienced team to sell your home using a proven marketing approach? We offer a full service listing and marketing plan to get your home sold quickly, with the fewest problems and for the highest possible price. Selling real estate is a science and we have the system in place to get you the most money for your home!

In addition to being passionate about real estate, I love giving back to my community, traveling with the family to explore new destinations, watching football with friends in the fall, relaxing on Pensacola Beach in the summer, and occasionally playing (attempting to play) golf! My wife, son Peyton and I attend Cokesbury United Methodist Church here in Pensacola. I am the current Golf Tournament Committee Chariman and we recently raised over $10,000 for three local charities. My wife, Angie, is on the Board at Cokesbury Children’s Center, where our son attends pre-school. I am also a member of the Northeast Pensacola Sertoma Club, which raises over $50,000 for local charities every year at events such as HogFest in the Spring and Dragon Boat Festival in the summer. We have a ton of fun giving back to our community and want to teach our son the importance of faith, family and community involvement.

Contact The Hansen Team today to learn more about how we can best serve your Pensacola area real estate needs! (850) 377-2201 or send email to ContactHansenTeam@gmail.com. We guarantee to provide you with a professional level of service no matter what your needs, and we look forward to meeting with you soon!

Tara Santosuosso / Chill Cryotherapy Pensacola

Tara Santosuosso started her business career as a software engineer, then took time out to raise her son Anthony. An avid tennis player and skier, Tara sustained a few injuries and had nagging aches and pains. While living in Dallas, she started using whole body cryotherapy for back and ankle injuries. Convinced that it helped her recovery, she looked for one around northwest Florida. But there was none close by. Chill Cryotherapy is the answer.

Tara’s husband Jeff has enjoyed a 25-year career working for some of the major international life sciences companies. With an MBA from Dartmouth and hands-on general management skills, he brings sound business practices and experiences to the team. An avid cyclist, runner, and skier, Jeff also uses cryotherapy for recovery and relief.

Tara and Jeff have lived in Pensacola since 2012 and are members of the Pensacola Chamber of Commerce.

WELCOME TO CHILL CRYOTHERAPY, PENSACOLA.

Cryotherapy is a whole-body exposure to sub-zero temperatures used to promote the body’s natural anti-inflammatory response, release endorphins, reduce pain and promote overall health. Cryotherapy is not a medical procedure, but a non-invasive alternative for individuals seeking faster recovery and improved health.

We have selected what we believe is the highest quality unit on the market today. It is manufactured by Impact Cryotherapy Inc. The  unit was designed and is built in the United States. It is a unit we can stand behind.

The unit is currently being used by pro golfers, teams like the New Orleans Saints, New Orleans Pelicans, Tampa Bay Rays, Miami Marlins, and Boston Red Sox. Now the NCAA is turning to Cryotherapy. Impact Cryotherapy has units installed at  University of Georgia, Georgia Tech, and Wake Forest, just to name a few.

We are in the process of setting up our retail location in downtown Pensacola. We look forward to opening in January. See how Cryotherapy can improve your health and well being.

Is Whole Body Cryotherapy right for you? Do you want to:

Reduce Recovery Time and Muscle Soreness

 Manage Persistent Pain & Inflammation

Relieve Symptoms of Depression & Anxiety

 Increase Metabolism & Weight Loss

Steven Reynolds and Tim Shipman / Cordova Lanes Bowling Center

Steve Reynolds is the owner of Cordova Lanes Bowling Center, which operates as a community center as much as a bowling and family entertainment center. Cordova Lanes is well known in Pensacola as the place that put ‘fun’ into fundraising, whether hosting a fundraising event at the lanes, or contributing auction items and door prizes to local events.

Popular evening specials such as ‘penny-a-pin’ and the famous ‘kids bowl free all Summer’ are coupled with a reputation for quality that means Cordova Lanes hosts regional and NCAA tournaments.  They also host local business and networking groups, off-site working lunches for businesses and a flurry of Holiday and Christmas parties.

The Reynolds family has been involved in Pensacola’s bowling scene for many decades. Steve’s father Bob opened Cordova Lanes in 1979. Since then, it has continued to flourish as a legacy of his philosophy that a business that becomes part of a community becomes an institution; a part of the fabric of that community.

WELCOME TO CORDOVA LANES!

let’s go bowling…

…or throw darts, or play poker, or have a great salad, or share your singing skills with the Karaoke bunch, or catch the big game…

You get my point? Cordova Lanes is a Bowling Center… as in Community Center. We have plenty of activities, but more importantly; we have the perfect vehicle to assist you in meeting your goals, both personal and professional.

Bowling is great fun, great exercise, and a great icebreaker. It’s perfect forfamily gatherings, school field trips, church socials, networking opportunities, fundraisers, dates, civic group meetings, weddings, and birthdays or celebrations of any kind!

We are also experts at ensuring you have a great time while bowling, whether as a league member or just a simple social occasion. And don’t worry about staying in touch – we have free wi-fi throughout the center.

Come experience the at Cordova Lanes, where we prove bowling is fun!

Dennis Caire / Breast Cancer Research Foundation  Representative- HOT PINK WEEKEND in PENSACOLA, FL.

The Breast Cancer Research Foundation is a nonprofit organization committed to achieving prevention and a cure for breast cancer. We provide critical funding for cancer research worldwide to fuel advances in tumor biology, genetics, prevention, treatment, metastasis and survivorship.

BCRF is the highest rated breast cancer organization in the U.S. with an A+ rating from Charity Watch and 4 out of 4 stars from Charity Navigator.

Since our founding in 1993 by Evelyn H. Lauder, BCRF has raised more than half a billion dollars for lifesaving research. Through a unique and streamlined grants program, we seek out the brightest minds in science and medicine and give them the necessary resources to pursue their best ideas. As a result, researchers are able to make discoveries and design new approaches to address all aspects of breast cancer—and do so in record time.

“Our goal is to accelerate the breakthroughs bringing us closer to a cure to speed up the progress that will improve survivorship and quality of life for breast cancer patients today.” – Myra J. Biblowit, President & CEO

In 2015-2016, BCRF will award $48.5 million in annual grants to over 240 scientists from top universities and medical institutions around the globe. In addition, $5.4 million has been committed to the international Founder’s Fundproject focused on metastasis. Every hour of research we fund improves outcomes and saves lives. But we still have more to do.

The thousands of women and men suffering from breast cancer today depend on us. No institution can conquer this disease alone. Together, we can.
