With your support, we are changing lives and saving lives every day. The Foundation’s support has touched every one of our patient care departments and Lakeview Centerand, in doing so, impacted the care each of Baptist’s patients and clients receive every day.

Giving to support Baptist has never been easier and we invite you to contribute in a way that is meaningful to you. Your gift may be designated toward a specific department or service area of your choice.

The Foundation is working with Baptist senior leadership to identify several funding priorities for which we will focus on raising financial support. If one department or care area is more meaningful to you, however, we encourage you to follow your heart. The Foundation team is available to work with you to assure that you are able to focus on what is truly important – making a difference with your charitable gift.

Kimberly Barnes and Stefanie Diaz

Kimberly Barnes/ContentPark

An advocate for social justice. A tireless volunteer. A wannabe hacker. An honest and thoughtful friend. A weekend karaoke singer. A serial entrepreneur. One thing that can’t be said about Kimberly Barnes is that she’s one dimensional.

Kimberly is the founder of ContentPark, a tech-driven content agency that specializes in the production of premium content for large brands and mid-sized businesses. ContentPark provides clients with content that’s narratively compelling, culturally attuned, and SEO-smart. Their work can be seen on web assets managed by Fortune 500 companies such as Macy’s, AT&T and Southern Company.

Prior to ContentPark, Kimberly spent more than a decade putting her marketing expertise to work in higher education, at Fortune 500 companies, and at globally-recognized, privately-held small businesses across the country. She guided company and campaign strategies and improved organizational efficiency as a data analyst. And as a creative director, both in an agency and in-house, Kimberly led teams through marketing campaign design and execution.

In her last corporate role, Kimberly was an SEO analyst where she worked with some of the more influential leaders in the industry on national telecom accounts including Verizon, DirecTV and Frontier Communications.

Kimberly is a proud graduate of North Carolina A&T where she began her post-secondary education as a chemical engineering major. She discovered, however, that marketing was a better fit, as it exercised her high aptitude for creativity and her desire to be challenged technically and analytically. After graduating at the top of her business class with a bachelor of science in marketing, this self-proclaimed technophile taught herself HTML, CSS and PHP and received formal training in Ruby on Rails. She has since used this knowledge in a variety of her roles.

Learn more about her and her team at ContentPark by visiting their website (www.contentpark.co) and social media such as Twitter (@_contentpark) and Instagram (@contentpark).

TIFFANY KRUMINS

Tiffany Krumins
, the first Shark Tank winner, is an Atlanta native and the inventor of Ava the Elephant, a child friendly dispenser that takes the fear out of taking medicine. Called a modern day Mary Poppins, Tiffany has gone from nanny to entrepreneur, and has seen her passion to help children grow into a business that is now known and loved all over the world.

Tiffany’s success story began when she was a nanny to a little boy with Down’s syndrome who was terrified of “medicine time”. To help alleviate his fear, she constructed an animal made of fabric, sponges, a store bought medicine dropper, and a recordable sound chip from a greeting card – and Ava the Elephant was born. Knowing that she would need to find a way to produce her invention, Tiffany began searching the internet and found a casting call on Craigslist that said: “Do you have the next million dollar idea but don’t have the funding to make it happen?” She immediately applied for the casting and was invited to be on the first ever episode of Shark Tank.

Her story has been a roller coaster ride as she went from being on a national TV show and receiving $50,000 to start her company, to learning just months later that she had thyroid cancer. While working from a hospital bed, she struggled through the growing pains of building a business and fighting cancer.

Tiffany’s appearance on Shark Tank and the success following continues to provide countless opportunities for her and her brand. Her story has received unparalleled exposure. Some of her more notable appearances and acknowledgements:

  • Follow-up appearances on Shark Tank on four separate occasions
  • Sharing her story and her product on the Dr. Oz Show to a national audience of millions of viewers
  • Nominated for the Top 50 Mompreneurs by Babble.com
  • Keynote speaker for Disney Social Media Mom’s
  • Her story has been featured on Forbes.com, Entrepreneur.com, TVGuide.com, YoungEntrepreneur.com, MomInventors.com and many other online and print publications

Scott Deaton/Dataforensics

Dataforensics is a software company focused on streamlining and improving the data collection and data management process for geo-technical and geo-environmental engineers, geologists and hydrogeologists. Technological advances over the past decade have created the opportunity for a transformational shift in how organizations gather and manage their data and how they serve and interact with their contractors and clients. At the heart of Dataforensics software is a substantially less human dependent data collection model, founded on the precept that data should only be input once and that integrated systems can subsequently enhance usability and reliability of data while improving the data management process. Clients routinely tell Dataforensics that their software results in a positive return on investment within a few months of deployment.

Nancy McGill/Cartridge World Lawrenceville

The 2016 Pinnacle Award winner for small business (6-24 employees), Cartridge World of Lawrenceville will celebrate 13 years in business in December 2017. They save their customers on high quality ink, toner and printers, and provide service that no one else does.

Andy Morgan/Morgan Law Group

The Morgan Law Group is a law firm that provides legal representation to clients on general corporate matters and business transactions such as purchases, sales, financing and deal structuring. They assist with contract drafting and negotiations and help their clients assess and address potential legal risks.
