Business Development Manager

Mission Statement

Springdale Travel creates opportunities for citizens of the world to make the most of their time and experience the world face-to-face in any way they choose.

We strive to promote life-enriching experiences and secure the joy of travel for our clients and for all those who venture to leave home.

Why is a travel agent important to you?

In an age where the internet provides us incredible resources, it is still a challenge to ensure your vacation is properly planned and best meets your needs. Too much information on the web is self-serving and biased, too price driven, and one person’s opinion may or may not reflect a general standard. There is already much controversy about how much a consumer can trust what they read on the web.

Discerning travelers rely on a travel expert to ensure they make the travel plans that truly fits best and that they receive the best value for their money.

It’s not about spending less on a vacation, but spending wisely for an experience one wants.

We’ll make sure your vacation is fantastic — not because it’s the cheapest one, but because it best meets your needs and desires. In this respect, you receive the best value. But we don’t want you to have to take our word for it, just read some comments from our raving fans!

Your satisfaction is of the utmost importance.

We work hard to earn your trust and loyalty. We hope you’ll also find that to be the case as our vacation planners look forward to handling your travel arrangements.

Service Fees

If you are interested in knowing exactly what we charge for which services, please feel free to take a look.

We always do our very best to quote your trip at the very best value for you, but , if you have ever find another rate online that appears to be or is lower than something your Springdale Travel agent has quoted you, please let your agent know. We can often explain what isn’t being shown, or, if the rate really is different for the same trip, we can often price match with our suppliers.

Coconut water products are popping up everywhere these days. Dr Fitness experienced fresh coconut water after a long run in Mexico – a guy took a chilled coconut out of a barrel and with a machete cut it open and Dr Fitness drank the water straight from the coconut. The Fat Guy is from Miami so he too is no stranger to the delicious tasting coconut water. Now is it really good for you – that is the question. Good news – it really is healthy. It is high in potassium so it is a good fluid replacement drink. Now is it worth the high price you pay for it – that is another question that only your wallet can answer.

In today’s Wellness Minute Dr Fitness and the Fat Guy explain how drinking water before meals can help you lose more weight. A recent study seemed to show that if you drink a couple of glasses before a meal you’ll eat less and lose weight. this may be because you’re full from drinking the water. It also might be because people are more dehydrated than they think they are and they might confuse the signal to eat with the signal to drink.  So drink early and drink often – you might drop a couple of pounds – FYI this study seems to work best for older folks. In today’s Wellness Minute Dr Fitness and the Fat Guy explain ways to tell if someone you’re swimming with is drowning. Drowning is the second leading cause of death for kids under 12. Most drownings occur in freshwater like lakes, ponds and pools. And of course little kids can drown in the bathtub if they are unattended.  Believe it or not when someone is drowning they don’t behave like they do in movies. They don’t flail their arms and scream. They usually just quietly sink down into the water. So be on the look out for someone who looks dazed and has glassy eyes and is bobbing in the water – gasping for air.  Listen right now to hear Dr Fitness’ tips. In today’s Wellness Minute Dr Fitness and the Fat Guy share some summer weight loss tips. When the weather gets warmer you are forced to wear less clothes so that puts more pressure on you to look good. So get outside and move more. But when you’re out don’t drink high calorie drinks like full sugar soda or beer drink more water. This will save you calories and keep you hydrated. Go to the beach. There are so many healthy activities you can do at the beach – bring a ball, go for walks, play in the surf. Just walking in the beach sand burns more calories than walking on a flat surface. In today’s Wellness Minute Dr Fitness and the Fat Guy details how you can protect yourself from cruise ship germs. A recent report on the cleanliness of cruise public bathrooms uncovered some disturbing things. While the bathrooms look visibly clean only about half the bathrooms were properly disinfected. The germs found in the bathrooms could have been the cause of the recent outbreak of stomach illnesses on cruises. So remember when you are on a cruise or in any public bathroom make usre to wash your hands thoroughly with soap, water and lots of rubbing. The friction from rubbing your hands together with the soapy water is what gets rid of the germs. Listen right now to hear Dr Fitness’ tips.
