Cyndi Warren  is the Managing Member of the Pensacola office of Warren Averett, LLC, CPAs and Advisors. She has extensive experience in individual and corporate tax planning and tax code compliance and also specializes in tax and accounting for the construction and manufacturing industries. Cyndi has been a keynote speaker for several local groups including the Associated General Contractors, American Subcontractors Association and the National Association of Industrial & Office Properties (NAIOP). Additionally, she has been a presenter and panelist for various women’s groups, including the American Society of Women Accountants and the Powerful Women of the Gulf Coast Pursue Your Passion Annual Conference.  

Cyndi is passionate about giving back to the community where she lives and thrives and about leading and mentoring the next generation to be one of generosity.  She is actively involved in Momentum Church, is the president of IMPACT 100 Pensacola Bay Area and treasurer for the PACE Center for Girls Escambia/Santa Rosa.

Cyndi and her husband Scott live in beautiful Pensacola and they have three children.

Powerful Women of the Gulf Coast has formerly existed for 3 years providing benefits to women in business looking to grow personally and professionally. In addition to the monthly meetings in Pensacola and Gulf Breeze and an annual conference, we also publish a quarterly print magazine. However, during this time many of our attendees have requested more opportunities to become more active and gain more exposure within our organization. We also see value in creating a unified front of supporters who are willing to stand together to support women in business. Anyone interested can apply for either Traditional Membership or Premier Membership at first year introductory rate offers.

Kolleen’s personal mission is to “be the change you want to see in the world” (Gandhi) and she believes that if we all did what we were most passionate about, the world would be greatly changed. Last October, Kolleen took a leap of faith and left a 25 year career as a Financial Advisor to pursue her passion, running Powerful Women of the Gulf Coast full time. “We are excited about the collaborative culture we have built and can’t wait to see where it takes us and how we can support women in business.”

My nursing career has proven to be very diverse and unique. The skills that have been most effective for my success are the ability to understand the growth and development of health care as a business and the passion for service excellence in clinical care settings. I have learned to manage multimillion dollar budgets as well and grow strong experience teams, do more with much less, and embrace change for moving into the future of a “new health care environment.” Building empowered and passionate team members/leaders shows to be one of my greatest strengths.  I have served under and been mentored by strong, committed, successful and well established leaders in healthcare/ hospice industry.

Covenant Hospice has been providing care for more than 30 years, serving as many as 6,000 patients each year throughout Northwest Florida and South Alabama. Our mission is to ensure our patients live as fully and comfortably as possible, without regard to their ability to pay. We fulfill this mission by providing specialized care for those with a life-limiting illness, offering hospice services wherever the patient considers ‘home.’

For patients who are unable to remain in their own homes, Covenant Hospice partners with more than 200 area nursing homes and assisted living facilities. We are proud to provide a special kind of care at both of our Inpatient Palliative Care Centers – housed at West Florida Hospital in Pensacola, Florida and at Bay Medical Center – Sacred Heart Health System in Panama City, Florida – along with the Joyce Goldenberg Hospice Inpatient Residence in Pensacola, Florida.

Our teams have developed exceptional care plans for end-stage cardiac disease, dementia and Alzheimer’s disease.
