Metro Raleigh is the newest Business RadioX studio, and we’re already deeply connected to the community. North Carolina Technology Association kicked off its NC Tech Talk monthly show with a discussion about policy and spoke with active members Resolvit and Alphanumeric Systems. The Wireless Research Center has its show on http://carolinaconnections.businessradiox.com and hosted the Mayor of Wake Forest in their inaugural show; subsequent shows featured entrepreneurship leaders from the City of Raleigh, HQ Raleigh, and then the B2B team from Verizon Wireless.
Next month, we launch a new show from our newest partner, EntreDot. They’ll help us hear from a host of new small business owners, learn the solutions offered by their mentors, and hear how their sponsor help these small businesses grow. Tune in on the 2nd Monday of each month to hear Fred Hathaway lead these great discussions on http://raleigh.businessradiox.com

Wilmington studio celebrated a six-month anniversary in June with a fabulous line up of guests. We kicked off summer at the beach and helped get the word out about tourism in Wilmington, with the Wilmington Convention Center, the Battleship North Carolina, Wilmington and Beaches Visitor’s Bureau. We talked Film in Wilm with EUE Screen Gems and the Wilmington Film Commission, thanks to the Chamber of Commerce. We talked about innovation and building business with Seahawk Innovation, Irongate Partners, Proclaim Interactive, BlueTone Media and many more. We also talked World Cup with the General Manager of our own Wilmington Hammerheads Football (futbol?) Club. Along with another 10 guests, Wilmington Business Radio has scored big-time for the region’s businesses!

Business RadioX came to Raleigh in May – and we’ve seen amazing growth ever since!
Veteran BRX’er Ann Revell-Pechar teamed up with Cal Hackeman and, with the help of a handful of Atlanta’s leaders, had their first Metro Raleigh Business Radio show on May 15th and right out of the box, we had a live 2-day remote broadcast at the North Carolina Technology Association (NCTA) State of Technology event. In total, in 2 days, we interviewed 20 business executives. Not a bad start!
We have two house shows. Metro Raleigh Business Radio runs Mondays at 1pm; Carolina Connections runs Tuesday at 11am. Wireless Connections, co-hosted by the Wireless Research Center of North Carolina (WRC), is on twice each month, and, beginning June 30, a new show from NCTA will run the last Monday of each month. All of these shows broadcast from our studio inside the WRC in the town of Wake Forest, NC. Tune in! It’s great stuff…

Wilmington’s Business RadioX studio is changing the sound of business information in this fast-changing city. Located in beautiful historic downtown Wilmington, NC, Ann Revell-Pechar hosts two different shows – Wilmington Business Radio and Bridges to Business. It’s where people come for insights into businesses that you can’t get anywhere else, like rising star nCino, soon-to-launch NextGlass, VCs like IdeaFund, bankers like PNC and regional developers like Plantation Homebuilders.
Tom Pechar hosts Cape Fear Seniors, on which he has introduced new facilities like Cambridge Senior Living, new products like Treadwell (for increased bloodflow), and critical service providers like elderlaw practitioner Mitzi Kincaid.
NEW this month is Voices of Business, hosted by power partner Wilmington Chamber of Commerce CEO Connie Majure-Rhett. Her first show aired April 10th and featured Wilmington Mayor Bill Saffo, Chamber Chair Ricky Godwin, and the Blue Ribbon Council on Youth Violence’s Jana Jones Hall. Off to a great start – one has to wonder, where will they go from here?!
