Sharon Luquire- A Peace of Home
Sharon Luquire has been an integral part of the Healthcare profession for 40 years. She is a retired Registered Nurse, a licensed Nursing Home Administrator and serves as the Geriatric Care Manager with A Peace of Home, an eldercare consulting company with offices in Wilmington and Charlotte.
A Peace of Home was established by her son, Justin, three years ago after he watched the slow decline of his grandfather with dementia. It is their belief that every senior adult and family member should have access to and knowledge of resources that are available to them as they navigate the confusing and frustrating healthcare maze. Family members with aging loved ones worry everyday as they struggle to care for, or find care for, their loved ones who live alone or are no longer able to care for themselves. Feelings of anguish, fear, guilt, concern and indecision are overwhelming. Questions such as What do I do—Who do I call—Where do I go—Who can I trust to help me figure this out—often appear to have no answer.
Their mission is to provide that compassionate guidance that is all too often not available to families when there are so many unanswered questions about what is the best option for an aging loved one or where to turn for help.
A Peace of Home is not a referral source for facilities but a resource and advocate for senior adults.

Helayne Levy- Elder Law Firm of Andrew Olsen
I help families PLAN FOR LIFE, at the various stages of our collective human experience as we age. As an elder law attorney, I am uniquely positioned to address the changing needs of people as they experience the expected, and often unexpected, phases of their lives. Planning for some of the important things in life includes:
-controlling what we have while we are alive and well;
-creating financial security and protection;
-planning for, and dealing with, disability;
-health care advocacy/resident’s rights
-financing long term care (Veteran’s Benefits, Medicaid planning, Long Term Care Insurance);
-transitioning of residential living arrangements;
-planning for special needs beneficiaries;
-making the right decisions for oneself about one’s own inevitable mortality; including, the creation of a sound ‘exit strategy’ with known estate consequences of passing, leaving a positive legacy for heirs.
In this way, our clients can live their lives with the comfort to face the future with choices and confidence.
